OBITUARY OF WM. BOICE.

William Boice was born August 10, 1828. Died August 21, 1910 aged 82 years 11 days. He was married to Anna Mauck daughter of Jacob and Lucy Mauck Feb. 2, 1857. To this union five children were born. His wife and three of these children have preceded him to the life beyond. Two daughters survive him, Mrs. Ronie Carl of Carlton and Mrs. Lucy Knopp of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mr. Boice was married to Mrs. Marie Day Oct. 14, 1903. She survives him, also one brother Julius Boice of Cheshire and one sister Mrs. Lynie Aleshire of Minnesota.

The funeral services held at the Baptist Church Wednesday morning were conducted by Dr. J.M. Davis of Rio Grande assisted by Rev. C.L. Thomas and Rev. W.W. Crabtree and he was laid to rest in Gravel Hill Cemetery by undertaker Rappold of Pomeroy.

There was a large crowd present to pay their last respects to one who has been a lifelong resident of this place. - Cheshire Cor.
