A memorial service for Austin L. Keplar, 80, who passed away July 8 in
Athens, Ohio, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 14 in the chapel at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Keplar had been a longtime resident of the Akron area.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Athens Bible Church, The Plains, Ohio 45780.

Austin Keplar, 80, longtime resident of Akron, and recently of Athens, died July 8 after an extended illness.
Born in Athens County, he was retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in Akron.
He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and David Panich, and grandson, Lee, of Athens, and Shelly and Raphael Sessa of Pittsburgh; sisters, Lucille Sporn of Richfield and Ruth Anderson of Albuquerque, N.M.; and former wife, Edna M. Keplar of Wadsworth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Yost Keplar, and brother, Arthur Keplar Jr.
Graveside services will be performed at a later date in Akron. Memorial contributions may be made to the Athens Bible Church, 42 Poston Rd., The Plains, Ohio 45780.
