G. Arlene Hill, 76, of Fostoria, passed away at 10:16 a.m. Wednesday. Oct. 24, 2018, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

She was born Dec. 21, 1941, in Wood County, Ohio, to the late Leonard and Evelyn (Mapes) Beair. She married Ned M. Hill Sept. 11, 1960, in Risingsun, and he died Feb. 5, 1991.

Surviving are six children, Tammy J. Rasp of Mount Vernon, Theresa J. Welly of Englewood, Florida, Tina M. (William) Cook of Fostoria, James A. Hill I of Fostoria, Gary M. (Cathy) Hill of Bluffton and Melissa A. (Richard) Blechinger of Howard; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heidi Ann Hill; and two sisters, Norma L. Walters and Patricia Ann Beair.

Arlene was a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed animals, fishing, dancing, playing cards and crocheting.

Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at Hoening & Son Funeral Home, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria. and one hour before the funeral Monday.

Her funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria
