Mrs. Cora Halford, Native of County,
Dies at Her Home
Mrs. Cora Halford, 69, a life-long resident of Dallas County, died Thursday at her home, 4226 Barksdale, after a long illness.
She was born in Grand Prairie, the daughter of Dallas County pioneer settlers.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. henry Hicks and Mrs. Josephine Childress, both of Dallas, and Mrs. Louise Albertson of Long Beach, Calif.; two sons, Jack S.
Ducourt and Robert E. Ducourt, both of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. B. G. Maxwell of Union Bower, a brother, M. E. Combs of Dallas, eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Lamar & Smith Chapel, 800 West Jefferson. The Rev. Dean Harrison will officiate.
Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ed Schroeder, Marvin Amlong, Burl Davenport, Troy Nicholson, A. R. Jameson and Eurban Waller.
