Alverta R. Umberger Boeshore, 74, of 51 Mt. Lebanon Drive, Lebanon, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, in Lebanon's Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Roy D. Boeshore. Born Nov. 24, 1928, in East Hanover Township, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Grant J. and Amanda Bomberger Umberger. She was a graduate of Lebanon High school and attended Lebanon Valley College for a year. A homemaker, she was a member of the Women's Guild of St. Jacobs Kimmerlings Church in Lebanon and a former member of the Farm Women's Group. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons Carl L., husband of Leigh Boeshore of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Neal S. Boeshore of Florida; daughter Sandra J. Boeshore of Lebanon; brother Paul J. Umberger of Springfield, Va.; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jacobs Kimmerlings Church, 1 St. Jacob's Drive, Lebanon, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10. Interment will be in Kimmerlings Cemetery, Lebanon.
