She married Garrett Kneisley in 1936 in Galveston. He died in 1968.
She was owner and operator of Christy's Seafood Restaurant in San Antonio and the El Rancho Motel in Fort Stockton. She had been a resident of Lubbock since January of 1996. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Claude of Lubbock and George of Roswell, N.M.; a stepson, Garrett "Gary" of Westminster, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Grace Eva Goe of Stone Mountain, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
