Colette Mary Kendrick Ropp, 69, of West Des Moines, Iowa, passed away July 24, 2000 at Mercy Hospice in Johnson, Iowa of cancer. She was born and resident of Chicago for 12 years; 27 year resident of Aurora and 30 year resident of Marion, Iowa.
Funeral mass will be Wednesday, July 26, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. St. Theresa's Catholic Church with cremation to follow.
She was a devoted wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Ropp of West Des Moines, IA; one daughter, Susan Ingram of Overland Park, KS; three sons, Richard Ropp of Kansas City, MO, Steve Ropp of Kansas City, MO and Douglas Ropp of Cedar Rapids, IA; 8 grandchildren; and three brothers, William Kendrick of Aurora, Illinois, Dennis Kendrick of Miami, FL and Jack Kendrick of Batavia, IL.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 25, 2000, 5 to 8 p.m. ;at brooks Funeral Care, with Scripture service at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
