In 1970 when I transcribed this stone for a project I was doing, the following was visible:

Consecrated to the memory of Mrs. Rebeckah, wife of Dea. Daniel Shaw, who died in 73 year of her Age. Also to the Memory of Mr. Daniel, eldest son of Dea. Daniel Shaw & Rebeckah who died in Savannah, Geo. Sep 22, 1809; in the 44 Year of his Age.
The fatal summons brings together those
Who live in distant climes at nature's close.
The aged Mother, here resigns her breath;
While there, the son is seiz'd with sudden death.
Incarnate GOD, in sovereign mercy give
The weeping friends low at they feet to lie;
(the rest of the stone was buried)
