PARRY
Lenore Parry was born to Margaret and William Stumbaugh in Lucas County, Iowa. She passed from this life while residing in Chariton on Friday, July 7th, 1972.
Mrs. Parry was a life-time resident of Lucas County, living most of her life on a farm near Oakley.
Lenore was united in marriage to Lemuel Parry and to this union were born five chidren, who experienced the warm, rich love of a devoted mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lemuel; two sons, Harold and Azel Parry; and one sister, Neva Keen.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing three children: Mrs. Louise Wingren of Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Mildred Tompkins of Sioux City, Iowa; and Palmer Parry of Chariton.
Other survivors include one granddaughter, Sandra Rogers of San Angelo, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Mark and Christopher, of San Angelo, Texas; and two nephews, Miles and Gerald Foster of Chariton, Iowa.
Her radiant personality and joyful outlook on life will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Services were held July 1, 1972 at 1:30 p.m. at the Downs Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
