Miss Sarah Ann (Sallie) Dixon - age 76 of Route 2, Blaine, passed away April 20th, 1975 at 12 noon after a lingering illness at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carter Acuff, with whom she had made her home for several years. Member of Little Valley Baptist Church. Survivors: brother-in-law, Grover Stalsworth, Blaine; sister-in-law, Mrs. David Dixon, Blaine; nieces, Mrs. Carter (Deana) Acuff, Mrs. Billy Ray (Christine) McGinnis, Mrs. Jaky (Kathleen) Brown, Miss Gennie Belle Stalsworth, all of Blaine, Mrs. Harvey (Barbara) Rasnake, Mrs. Dewitt (Lorain) Patterson, both of Knoxville, Mrs. O.C. (Betty Jean) Johnson, Corryton; nephew, Grover Stalsworth, Blaine; several great nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Little Valley Baptist Church, Rev. Omer Crowe, Rev. Ernest Rush officiating. Pallbearers: Bill Patterson, Don Shaver, Homer, John, and Houston Dixon, J.R. Acuff. Burial in Perrin's Hollow Cemetery. The body is at the home of Carter Acuff, Blaine. McCarty Mortuary in charge.
