Former Employe Of County Dies
A former employe of the Sedgwick County Engineering Department, Harley D. Furnish, 71, died at his home at 1927 Jeanette Monday morning. He had retired five years ago. He was born Oct. 15, 1887, in White Heath, Ill., and moved to Wichita from there 41 years ago.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Fay Smith, 3715 Salina, Mrs. Madge Smith, 1857 Jeanette; Helen Clum, 2805 E. Pawnee; Mrs. Dorothy Gardner, Topeka; Mrs. Burma Englazos. Oakland. Calif; Mrs. Virginia Shull, Bell, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Edna DeGoff, Champaign, Ill., and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be announced by Downing Mortuary.

Friday Funeral Set for Harley D. Furnish
Funeral services for Harley D. Furnish, 71, of 1927 Jeanette, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Downing Mortuary with Rev. N. Robert Gill, pastor of Riverside Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.
Mr. Furnish died Monday. Casket bearers will be Homer, John, Victor, Lee George and Perry Caster.
