Brakeman Dies After Long Illness Period

Benjamin F. Dickson, aged 54, Missiouri Pacific brakeman, died Saturday evening in St. Francis hospital. He had been in failing health two years.

Mr. Dickson was born June 9, 1895, in South Carolina. He was a member of the Catholic church and of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Jane, at home; father, S. M. Dickson, Protection, Kan.; daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Dame, Oakland, Cal.; brothers, J. H. Dickson, Los Angeles.; S.M. Dickson, Jr., Little Rock, Ark.; Leo Dickson, Protection, and Jack Dickson, Morenci, Ariz.; sisters, Mrs. W. M. Colson, Ringling, Okla.; Mrs. S. M. McKee, Ardmore, Okla.; Mrs. Unie Morgain, Fillmore, Cal.; Mrs. Marie Decker, 419 Riverview; stepsons, Lester Wright, 1917 North Lorraine, and Dale and Gary Wright, at home; stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary Lindenman, 1244 Ida, and Miss Gail Wright, at home.

Funeral services will be announced by Lahey mortuary and burial will be in Wichita Park cemetery.
