FORT WORTH -- Linda R. Pruitt, 52, a retired accountant, died peacefully Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at a local hospital, after a lengthy illness.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: no set visitation.

Linda R. Pruitt was born Jan. 6, 1947, in Fort Worth. Linda was a retired accountant with the federal government. She was employed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Linda was a graduate of R.L. Paschal High School. She never met a cat that she didn't like. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Ray W. Pruitt, in 1987, and her step-father, Charles J. Jackson, in 1994.

Survivors: Mother, Ruth Jackson; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Paula Pruitt and their children, David and Jenelle Pruitt, and Jason and Alicia Parr; cat, Tin Tin; and she is also survived by several uncles and aunts; and many, many cousins.
