OBITUARY - 101-Year-Old Crockett Woman Claimed After Injuring Hip - CROCKETT, Oct. 5 - Mrs. Nan Hail died last night, two days after her 101st birthday. Ill luck befell Mrs. Hail Saturday as she made ready for her Sunday birthday party. She fell and hurt her hip. She was semi-conscious when relatives and friends called Sunday at her farm house.
Mrs. Hail was born in a house on what is now the courthouse square.
