Jacob Kaut, 80, passed away Thursday afternoon at his home in Charlesburg following a lingering illness.
Mr. Kaut was married to Anna Morgan of Johnsburg on Nov. 20, 1900. The ceremony was performed at Marytown.
He is survived by a brother, John of Kiel; two sisters, Sister Mary Brunisia of Mount Carmel convent, Mt. Calvary and Mrs. Ed Wettstein of New Holstein. Two sisters, both nuns, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at the residence and at St. Charles church. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
