Alfred Newton Boicourt, youngest son of John C. and Sarah Warner Boicourt, was born on March 21, 1872 in Columbus, Bartholomew Co., Indiana. He married Hulda Chapin on March 22, 1909 in Omaha, Nebraska. The Boicourts had five children, Hazel Dorothy, Kenneth John, Lillian May, Alfred Eugene and Robert D. Alfred Boicourt was a fireman for the City of Omaha, Nebraska. Part of his job was caring for the fire horses, harnessing them and driving the fire rig.
