Rites Set Today For Mrs. Edna Thomson

Last rites for Mrs. Edna Bailey Thomson, widow of Richard R. Thomson, of this city, will be held from the residence of a daughter, Mrs. E. L. Hendrix, 2717 6th Street this afternoon at 4 o'clock with Dr. C. C. Daniel officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery by Jones and Spigner.

Mrs. Thomson died Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Hendrix. She was born July 9, 1867 at Raleigh, Ala., in Pickens County, the daughter of Laurence D. and Annie Boon Bailey.

Surviving are one brother, Robert B. Bailey of Gordo, five sons and a daughter, Sgt. E. Bailey Thomson, who is in the Pacific overseas; William J. Thomson and Randolph Thomson of Carrollton, Richard R. and James Robert Thomson and Mrs. E. L. Hendrix of Tuscaloosa, and 16 grandchildren.

Active pallbearers for the funeral will be E. T. Ozment, Leonard T. Whatley, L. C. Bell, James A. Thomson, W. T. Price, and Lester B. Darden.
