Aaron Hacker was born to parents Virgil and Belinda Hacker near Hollis, Oklahoma on January 13, 1919 and went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 5, 2007, surrounded by his family. In 1922, he moved with his father to a farm in Beckham County. He graduated from Retrop High School in 1937. He was converted to Christianity in 1941 and was ordained to the ministry in 1943 and attended Oklahoma Baptist University. In 1938, he married Beulah Fay McGee. To this union five children were born. They are Manon Mohon of Orange, TX, Gene Hacker of Edmond, OK, Fred Hacker of Tuttle, OK, Sandy Springer of Edmond, OK and Tammy Dawson of Edmond, OK. Aaron has pastored eight churches in Oklahoma - Spring Creek, Retrop, Foss, Texola, Cooperton, Bethel Baptist, Anadarko, Lone Star Baptist, OKC, and First Baptist Church, Carter, OK. He served two years as Director of Northwest Baptist Camp near Vici, OK. He served two years as a Chaplain in Integris Baptist Medical Center and served as a Moderator of three Baptist Associations. He served as President of Oklahoma City Baptist Pastors Conference and has served on many other numerous committees and positions in the Baptist work. He has preached in over 100 Baptist churches in Oklahoma and has also preached in Texas, Tennessee, Kansas, Illinois, Ohio, and Washington State. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, five children, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and one sister, Betty Kline of Oklahoma City, as well as a number of other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Mon., April 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Lone Star Baptist Church, Hefner and Eastern in OKC.
