Betty, 69, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday. She was born the daughter of Martin and Bessie (Pospicil) Bohil.

Mrs. Bettinghouse was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and worked at Bosley's Drug Store for many years. She worked for many years with stained glass and loved the Holidays and time spent with her grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Bettinghouse; sister, Mary Ann Spitzley.

Surviving are her son, Kevin (Kari) Bettinghouse of Ionia; daughter, Laura (Gary) Harper of Dallas, Texas; 7 grand children, Nick Martin, Kurt Martin, Amber Bettinghouse, Alex Bettinghouse, Stacey Bettinghouse, Kelsey Harper, and Allison Harper; 1 great grandchild, Spencer Bettinghouse; sisters, Joann Mutschler of Saranac and Karen Thorpe of Florida; 3 aunts and several nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Boufford presiding.
