Mary H. Alvis, 89, of Marion, died May 25 at Crittenden Hospital. She was a member of Marion United Methodist Church, where was Women's circle was named in her honor. She was also a member of the Crittenden Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Ronald G. Alvis of Frankfort, formerly of Marion; a brother, Ronald F. "Tink" Hicklin of Marion and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 27 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Garvey officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
