Frances M. Auchter,
88, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at the River Valley Nursing Home in Butler, Ky., born on June 17, 1915 in Pendleton County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late William and Pearl LaFollette Klaber, she married Willard Auchter and her dear husband preceded her in death on November 14, 1985.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Grants Lick Baptist Church, where she was active in the Jolly Elders. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandsons: Mike and Mark Eshman; her granddaughter, Valeria Auchter; brothers, Charles Klaber, Elbert Klaber, and Willie Klaber, sister, Katherine Wolfe.
Survivors include; son, Carl Auchter, Mentor, Ky., daughters, Carolyn Eshman, Cold Spring, Ky., Alberta Kemplin, Lexington, Ky., five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one sister, Florence Wolfe, Butler, Ky.
Services were held on Saturday, March 27, 2004, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, Ky., Serving as pallbearers were David Kemplin, Philip Kemplin, John Rose-berry, Tony Auchter, Jason Tuemler, and Charles Klaber. The honorary pallbearers were Bill Klaber, Terry Wolfe, Asa Wolfe, Jim Klaber, and Ralph Klaber.
Interment took place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth, Ky.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station, Maysville, Ky., or the Grants Lick Baptist Church, 175 Clay Ridge Road, Grants Lick, Ky.
