Born Oct. 24, 1930, in Chicago, the daughter of the late George and Mildred Niemann. Doris was a very active member of St. Philips Lutheran Church involved in all that the church had to offer. She was an honor graduate of Taft High School in Chicago, and retired as the Executive Administrative Assistant for Maisons-Sur-Mer. She was an avid gardener and loved Myrtle Beach.
Mrs. Centner greatest legacy was her love of her faith, family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer and Sandra; three sons, Steven, Jeffery and Robert Jr.; a sister, Diana Walker of Myrtle Beach; five grandchildren; a great grandchild and a god-daughter, Debbie Ewing of Charlotte, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday June 29, 2005 at McMillian-Small Funeral Home.
