SUSIE E. MORGAN BALSER, 88, of Demossville, formerly of Covington, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical/Grant County in Williamstown. She retired in 1970 after 40 years as a packer for Liberty Cherry and Fruit Co. in Latonia. She was a member of Rosebud Chapter No. 39 Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Eugene Balser, died in 1969. Survivors include grandchildren, Robert E. Shoemaker of Kenton, James A. Shoemaker of Demossville and Jeffrey L. Shoemaker of Falmouth; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill, with visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
