Rev. Bertha Righthouse

The Rev. Bertha E. Righthouse, 76, Long Hollow Road, Pomeroy, died Saturday at Americare-Pomeroy Nursing Center following an extended illness.

Born on July 4, 1913 at Hanover, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Albert Righthouse and Mattie Bonnett Righthouse. She was a Nazarene minister and school teacher.

She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, William and Helen Righthouse, Pomeroy; two nieces, Judy Free, Hopkinsville, Ky.; and Wilma Pack, Nashville, Tenn.; three great-nieces, and one great-nephew.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Rock Springs Cemetery. The Rev. John Vance will officiate. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to a church of choice.
