Obituary, Chronicle Independent (Camden, SC) July 15, 2002: Joseph K. Price - Joseph Kiser Price, 89, of Bishopville, died Wednesday, July 10. Born in Lee County, he was a son of the late William A. and Francis Farmer Price and husband of the late Mae Keller Price. Mr. Price was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was a retired barber. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Stanley Galloway and Ellen and Carl Lee, all of Camden; four sons and daughters-in-law, Leo and Susan Price of Bethune, Olin and Shirley Price of Bishopville, Reed and Barbara Price of Bishopville and Lewis and Pat Price of Sumter; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Antioch Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Von Cockrell, Kenneth Bouldin and Howard Brown, with burial in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers are Danny Price, Benny Laney, Wayne Watkins, Ernie Daniels, Jimmy Keller, David Lee and Wayne Price. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Adult Men`s Class of Antioch Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church. Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home is in charge.
