Freddy was the son of Rev. Frederick Henry Cobb and Anna Ellen Stuart Cobb. On 11 August 1949, Frederick A. Cobb and Eileen Myrtle King were married at the First Baptist Church of Danville in Danville, Yell County, Arkansas. The children of Freddy and Eileen are Sharon, Cynthia, David and Randy.
