Margaret Ann Robinson

Margaret Ann (Smith) Robinson was born February 21, 1930 in Waurika, Oklahoma to U. L. and Ann (Lumpkins) Smith. She went to her eternal resting place on March 23, 2010 at the age of 80 years.

On August 7, 1948, Margaret was united in marriage to Hugh Robinson in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were blessed with 2 children, Dolores Ann Reeve and the late David Allen Robinson.

Margaret Ann graduated L. P.N. school in 1969. She then went to work for the N. H. Lindsey Memorial Hospital and transferred to the new, current Pauls Valley General Hospital in 1970. She later graduated R. N. school at O.C.C.C. in 1979. She loved being a nurse and took great pride in her work. She always wore her white uniform and nursing hat.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hugh of 60 years in June 2009, her son David in 2004, her brothers, U. L. and Harold Ray and her grandmother, Lena Morgan.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dolores and Glenn Reeve of Elmore City; a daughter-in-law, Lahoma Robinson of Asher, Oklahoma; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Rhonda and ALaizia Freeman, Noble; Melissa and Shawn Frazier and Bryan Brewer of Elmore City; Michael and Brandi Robinson and Jordin and Kinley of Lindsay; Talana and Eric Keeler and Tyler and Kyle of Lindsay; Sheena Scott and Kobe, Kyleigh, and Keira of Purcell; a brother, Charles Smith of Missula, Mt; a brother-in-law, Robert Robinson of Lexington, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Elmore City Church of Christ, Westview Boys Home, or Tipton Childrens Home. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
