They were the parents of Penrose Clement (1852-1940), Adam C (1855-1935), William (1858), Amanda (1857-1946), and Edmund (1862). Lucinda (1849) may be the daughter of Wilhelmina? 1850 Census lists her as Lucinda Clemens. Birth certificate files in 1852 names John as father.

The Sac Sun - Wednesday , April 18th, 1888 - Mr John Fullmer, formerly of this place, died at Inwood, Lyon county, Monday. He will be buried at this place Wed by the GAR. All Comrades are notified to meet at the meeting place at 10.

The Sac Sun - Wednesday , April 25th, 1888 - Lyon Co Reporter - Died - Sunday morning at 12:45 occurred the death of John G Fulmer. He was born in Pennsylvania Oct 2, 1827.

Seven years of his life he spent in Iowa - 2 in Inwood. He was a member of Co H 17th Michigan Infantry, served 3 years, and at the time of his discharge ranked as sergeant.

His wife died in 1872.

He leaves 3 children to mourn his loss: PC Fulmer, a son who resides at Sac City, arrived Tuesday and took charge of the remains which were sent to the above place for interment, the services being conducted under the auspices of Sac City, GAR, No 284 of which Mr Fulmer was a member in good standing.

His death came more as a welcome relief than as a terror. John Fulmer will be much missed. He possessed many valuable traits in his make up and young and old were his friends.
