Sally Strong Kyle was educated at Energy Enterprise Elementary School, GudeBlye School which later became Houston County High School, Mary Allen College and graduated from Prairie View A&M College. She was an educator, teaching home economics, elementary education, and or/special education for forty-six years. Her philosophy was helping to grow. She gave them more than content, but rather life coping skills.
In 1935, she married Vernon Marvin Strong who preceded her in death after fifty four years of marriage. In 1990 she married Rev Curtis Kyle, who brought happiness and spiritual strength in her last years.
