We first find Rab's signature on his wife, Lula Allen's death certificate in 1928. We find Rabb on the 1910 Houston County Census living with his family, the census taker says he is a mulatto:

The next time we find him, on the 1930 Houston County Texas Census he is 54 years old living with his wife, Cora who is 48 years old. Also in the household is a servant, AC Lewis who is 23 years old.
