NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Agnes Lucille Mathis, 94, of North Augusta, SC, daughter of the late John Anderson Marshall and Dovie Weatherford Marshall Koon, passed away Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010. Born in Augusta, GA and a lifelong area resident, she retried from United Merchants after thirty-two years of service. She was a member of Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church, Bath, SC. Family members include daughters, Margie Hale, (John) Eutawville, SC and Mary Lou Hogan, (Willard) Augusta, GA; son, A.M. Mathis, (Diane) Beech Island, SC; grandsons, Martin Dickson, Phillip Dickson, David Hogan, Paul Hogan, Eddie Mathis and Richard Mathis. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25th, 2010, at 2 o'clock from the graveside in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta, GA, with Pastor Bill Branch officiating. Pallbearers will be Richard Mathis, Eddie Mathis, Paul Hogan, David Hogan, Drew Hogan and Jake Hogan. The family has asked that if so desired, memorials in memory of Mrs. Mathis be made to Kentwood Nursing Home Activities, 1227 West Wheeler Pkwy., Augusta, GA 30909.
