Urbana--HOBERT E. SKAGGS, 78, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
Formerly of Urbana area, he worked in the maintenance department at U.S. Gypsum Co. for 36 years. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Tillie; a son, Michael Lee of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Janet Strain of Springville, Tenn.; a sister, Rebecca Webb of Paintsville, Ky.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Ave. Chapel, Wabash. Calling from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial in Falls Cemetery, Wabash.
