Henry Richard Cooper died Thursday, July 12, 1951, at the home of his son, Charles H. Cooper, near Hampstead. He was a son of the late Henry and Diana Kemp Cooper, and was aged 83 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alvena Mielke Cooper, a daughter,Mrs. Carroll Upperco, Arlington; two sons, Charles and Harry Cooper, both of Hampstead, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.- The Times July 19, 1951
