Mrs. Montgomery's funeral Monday
Funeral will be Monday for Sarah Ann Montgomery of Pendleton. Mrs. Montgomery, 88, died here Monday.
She was born at Vincent, Ore., Feb. 6, 1884, and had lived all her life in the Pendleton area. Her parents were early-day pioneers who homesteaded in the Gurdane area. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Pendleton. survivors are a daughter, Marjorie Connor, yakima, Wash.; a brother, Clay Cate, Chehalis, Wash.; and a niece, Lillian Hampton, Pendleton.
