Mrs. Annie Laurie Melton age 89, of Excel, AL died Monday, March 22, 2010 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home. She was a lifelong resident of Excel and a member of the Excel Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters: Patsy Bradley, Excel, AL. and Kathy Whitten of Bowling Green. KY; one brother: Rudolph Cohron, Utica, MS; three sisters: Barbara Herrington, Huntsville, AL and Doris McMillian and Marie Van Pelt both of Excel AL; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Excel Baptist Church.
