She was born February 5,1920, in Akron, OH, to the late Daniel and Erma (Wolascsuk) Spak. Erma was a resident of Louisville, OH, for 56 years, and a long time member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin J. "Bud" Caldwell; one daughter, Cynthia; and one son, Merlin, Jr.
