Funeral services for Mrs. Adelaide V. Causey Angier (1869-1943) were held at the residence in Georgetown Saturday morning at 10 a.m., with interment in the Georgetown Cemetery. The Rev. O. C. Howell of Crescent City conducted the services.
She was born in Georgetown April 11, 1869 and has been a lifelong resident of the community. Mrs. Angier taught school in Putnam County, in Fruitland and Georgetown for seven years.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Esther A. Gibbs of Georgetown; one brother, Capt. E. O. Causey of Palatka and one great-grandchild, Dan Hiscock of Seville. Mrs. Annie Green of this city is an aunt.
Attending the funeral from here were Judge and Mrs. Causey S. Green, Capt. E. O. Causey, Mrs. Claudia Reid, Mrs. Jimmie Sikes, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred P. Green. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Monday, 3 May 1943.)
