Mrs. Esther McCallie Gilbert died it her home at Moons, Ga., Sunday afternoon.
She is survived by her husband, Grover Gilbert; two daughters, Mrs. Mamie Tanner, of Bridgeport, Ala,, and Miss Katherine Gilbert, of Moons, Ga.; one son, William F. Gilbert, also of Moons, Ga.; father, George McCallie; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Brannon, of Chattanooga; five brothers, Ernest, Lonie and Paul McCallie, of Chattanooga; Allen McCallie, of Lakeview, Ga., and George McCallie, of Flintstone, Ga.
Funeral services will be at the Flintstone Baptist church Tuesday, 10.30 am., with the Rev. Lee LeCroy officiating. Interment will be in the Cenchat cemetery. Arrangements in charge Turner - Williams Funeral home.

Mrs. Gilbert was a member of the prominent McCallie family, pioneers of Flintstone.
Pallbearers will be H. C. Bohannon, Frank Hibbin, J. V. Searcy, Fred Ellis, Jack Hollingsworth and Judd Ellis. Arrangements in charge Turner-Williams Funeral home.
