Virginia's mother, Eva Keithley Lineberry Fox, died in 1922. She and four of her brothers went to live in Galax, Virginia with her father Jacob's family. Her sister, Bernita, brought Virginia and three of her brothers back to Oklahoma City in 1929. Virginia married James Thomas Willis in 1938 and was married to him until his death in 1961. Tommie and Virginia had two children: Donna Marie Willis Brown and Michael James "Mickey" Willis. She married Roy Billings in 1965 but he died a few short months after their marriage. Virginia is buried next to her first husband and his parents.
