Peter Renn, an old resident, died last Sunday night at his home in Lafayette township, aged seventy-one years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church.
Originally published in the New Albany Weekly Tribune on 2/1/1901
The will of Peter Renn has been probated. He gives his son, Benjamin, forty acres of land on condition he pay $400 to the estate. He gives his wife Catherine Renn, the remainder of his estate, and after her death it is to be divided among his children, Peter, John and Benjamin, Barbara McCarten, Mary Banmann, Catherine Zimmerman and Elizabeth Bannett. He names his son, Peter Renn, as executor of the will which was made December 24, 1900, and is witnessed by Joseph Toby and John Gabriel.
