He was born May 17, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Lois and Arnold Adams. He shared a happy childhood with his three siblings while growing up. He served in the U.S. Marines as a corporal (E-4) in the 1960s. He married Mary K . Rahm, and together they began their journey. John and his family later took up residence in Phoenix, Arizona in 1973.
Many admire the immense strength, courage, and wonderful sense of humor he showed throughout his time on earth.
John is survived by his wife Mary Kay (nee Rahm) of 46 years; (3) Children; Tonya (Everett) Rickards, Sonya (Tony) Jozwick and John (Paige) Adams; (3) Siblings; Janet (James-deceased) Wood, Teri (Bob) Whitlock, and Jack (Tabitha) Adams; (4) Grandchildren; Jessica, Kelsie, Heather, and Dallas.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 24th, 6-8 P.M. and the Funeral service will be at 12 noon, Thursday, March 25th, in the chapel at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E Bell Road, Scottsdale. Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix AZ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John Adams may be made to the Arthritis Foundations.
