She had a hatpin with a tin-type photo of her father mounted in it; she told me several times it was the only photo she had of her father. When I was given a tote box of memorabilia from Ethel's estate the photo posted was included. I hope the Canadian nephews who inherited her estate knew what the hatpin was.
