NEW ALBANY TRIBUNE OBITUARY - 04/28/1992 - GREENVILLE
Joseph B. Goebel, 73, died Monday at Floyd Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Frankfort, Ky.; a retired employee of Dean Good Co. in Louisville; a former employee of the old Purity Maid Co.; a Navy veteran of World War II; and a member of Floyd County Post 3281 of Veterans of Foreign Wars and St. Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Catherine Smith, a son, Ronald Goebel of Louisville; a daughter Karen Hartfield, and four grandchildren. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Marys Catholic Church, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, IN. Visitation will be at Kraft Funeral Home, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
