"Mrs. Mary Alice Drennan died at 2:40 a.m. today at her home at 510 West Pierce street, after three years invalidism caused by tuberculosis. She was bedfast only one day before her death.

Mrs. Drennan was a native of this city, but had resided in Tennessee and Texas twelve years, returning to Kirksville last May.

She is survived by a daughter, Miss Phoebe, who made her home with her mother and attended the Normal school. A son, Quintus, is a student in Morgan Park Academy near Chicago. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Beecher, and two brothers, Carl and H. Dode Beecher, reside at Millard, Mo. She has two sisters living, Mrs. Columbia Gingrich of this city and Mrs. Carrie Crampton of Kankakee, Ill."
