Otto and Adele lived many years in the St. Ansgar area where they were owners and operators of the St. Ansgar Mill.
Mrs. Boening, the daughter of William and Emma Schilke Hartwig, was born August 17, 1893 in Osage. She married Mr. Boening June 10, 1914 in Osage, and he died in 1973.
She is survived by three sons, Walter of Hokah; Waldemar of LaCenter; Paul of St.Paul; two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Gertrude) Van Gorder of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Lloyd (Ruth) Nachtwey of Portland, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Selma Moeckli of Phoenix, Ariz., and Miss Matie Hartwig of New Hampton.
She was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Burial was in the Immanuel Lutheran cemetery in St. Ansgar.
