CROSBY -- Darlene E. Anderson, age 69 of Crosby, died on Thursday, July 24, 2003, at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. She was born on July 11, 1934, in Crosby to Lloyd and Edna (Stofferahn) Fort. She was a member of the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph; two sons, Ron (Patty) Anderson of Byron, Roger (Rose) Anderson of Crosby; two daughters, Charlene Anderson and Charlotte Anderson, both of Crosby; five brothers, William (Lois) Fort of Chisholm, Albert (Judy) Fort of Ironton, John (ViAnn) Fort of Littlefork, Floyd Fort of Ironton, and Lloyd and Karen Fort of Minneapolis; four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Verna Murray.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday (07/28/2003) at the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood with the Rev. Mark Bengtson officiating. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call an hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
