Mrs. Vera Ella Beard, 72, of Lafayette died Wed., Sept. 28,
1977, in Westminster Village there. Born at Cambria she also lived a short time at Kokomo. In 1924 at Pyrmont, she was married to Russell C. Beard. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Cottrell of Rossville and Mrs.Joan Kirkpatrick of Lafayette; three sons, Bernard of Tucson, Ariz., and Russell and Richard, both of Lafayette; one sister,
Mrs. Hazel Ruel of Rossville; two brothers, Carl Butler of Rossville and Ray Butler of rural Lafayette; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were Saturday at Lafayette and interment was in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
