1900 United States Federal Census enumerated 2 Jun 1900 shows Sarah, age 5 living with her parents in Liberty, Clay county, Missouri. Her father John Duncan Ford age 44 is employed as a mining broker. Her mother, also named Sarah, (maiden name Huggard) is age 41. The couple had been married 16 years. Other known children in the household are a son of Sarah's by another marriage named Joe Haskell. He is 18 years old and a lumber salesman and the youngest son of John and Sarah, Ronald Ford age 13.

By the 1920 US Federal Census, enumerated 8 Jan 1920, Lucille is married to Alvin Rudolph Dallmeyer, a dry goods salesman and living in St. Louis City, Missouri. They have one infant son, Alvin, jr. and also living with them is her mother, Sarah Ford, age 61.

The 1930 Census, enumerated 10 Apr 1930 reveals that A. R. age 37 and Lucille Dallmeyer age 35 are living in Mexico, Audrain county, Missouri. He is working as a salesman for knit goods. They have 3 children now, Alvin Rudolph age 10, daughter Sarah age 5 and Ronnie aged 4.

By the 1940 Census, enumerated on 15 Apr they are still living in St. Louis at 712 Forsythe St. He is now 47 and working for the government as a Title 1 Representative for federal housing. Lucille is 45. There are 3 children; Alvin R. jr. 20, Sarah age 15 and Ronald age 14, residing at Rapid City, Pennington county, North Dakota in 1935.

She passed away at her home 0f 631 south McGregor street, in Carthage, Missouri from a sudden stroke. Her obituary published in The Joplin Globe newspaper on April 30, 1944 read:

MRS. A. R. DALLMEYER DIES AT CARTHAGE
Wife of Former Crowder Post Exchange Drops Dead While Preparing to Visit Husband.


Carthage, MO., April 29 - Mrs. A. R. Dallmeyer, wife of Lieutenant Colonel Dallmeyer, died suddenly at 2:20 o'clock this afternoon at her home, 631 S. McGregor street.
Mrs. Dallmeyer was dressing to go to Springfield to visit Colonel Dallmeyer, who is a patient in O'Reilly Hospital. The maid in the home found her and summoned a physician. She apparently died as she fell forward.
Colonel and Mrs. Dallmeyer came to Carthage in December, 1941 from Ft. Warren, Wyoming. He was transferred from there to Camp Crowder where he was stationed until last winter, when his health failed. His condition is much improved and he was expected to return home next week. He formerly was in charge of all post exchanges at Camp Crowder.
Mrs. Dallmeyer has two sons in service, Captain A. R. Dallmeyer, Jr., who has been stationed on the west coast and Private Ronnie Dallmeyer, stationed at Fort Leonard Wood. A daughter, Miss Sarah Ford Dallmeyer is a student at Monticello College in Godfrey, Illinois. The daughter-in-law, Mrs. A. R. Dallmeyer, jr., is here on a visit.
Mrs. Dallmeyer was a communicant of Grace Episcopal church.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Knell Mortuary in Carthage and burial was in Oak Crest Abbey Mausoleum Park Cemetery.

Note: Her Missouri Death Certificate incorrectly listed her fathers name as James Ford. Correct name was John.
