ADOLPH AMUNDSEN IN SERIOUS ACCIDENT
Just before noon Wednesday Adolph Amundsen sustained injuries to his right leg when thrown into the gears on his swather, that may ultimately mean the loss of the injured foot. Mr Amundsen was helping adjust the machine and when the tractor took hold with a jerk he was thrown into the moving gears and the bone above the ankle practically crushed to pieces. The hired man hurried him into the car and drove to the house, and he was brought on to the hospital. The doctors are applying all their skill to save the foot, but if infection develops this may be impossible.

Fiends and neighbors have already turned in to harvest the remainder of Mr Amundsen's splendid crop.
