Funeral services for Roberto C. Hernandez, 76, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Burial will be at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Roberto passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010 at home. He was born on Sept. 3, 1933 to Genaro and Genoveva Hernandez in Rockdale, Texas. He married Angelica Martinez on June 12, 1960.

Roberto served in The U. S. Army and grew up in Morton, he loved to read and he was self-employed and owned Eagle Radiator Works.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Reynaldo and Cruz; one sister, Dora Ugalde.

Those left to cherish Robert's memories are his wife of 50 years, Angie; three sons, Leonard Hernandez, Larry (Dora) Hernandez, Leal (Emi) Hernandez; and a daughter, Lori (Edward) Perez; one brother, Oscar of Lubbock; two sisters, Lilia Morales of Anton and Irma McIntire of California; and six grandchildren.
